I love photographs but I'm not very interested in photography. The camera is just a useful instrument for assaying the imagination; I have no ambition for it beyond that.

The most important thing in art is curiosity. Plant your flags as far from your own back porch as you dare. Then if you can still see them from your comfortable chair, move them out again. And again. Keep doing that. Never stop.
